3 times CM: Resignation to CM position within 55 hours

Bengaluru: As per the verdict of the Supreme Court, during the first session of the legislative assembly, B.S. Yeddyurappa did not propose trust vote and instead resigned from the position of chief minister within 55 hours of acquiring it, on Saturday May 19th.

B.S. Yeddyurappa arrived at the Raj Bhavan and handed over his resignation to Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala.

Through the route of fight and by leading movements in favour of the farmers, B.S.Yeddyurappa has become the chief minister three times. But it is observed that his term as the chief minister for the whole term occurred only once and the other two times it was for a small period of time.

7days, 3 years and 55 hours!

B.S.Yeddyurappa who received the post of chief minister for the third time on May 17th resigned from his position with 55 hours of receiving it. Previously in 2007, he became the chief minister for only 7 days and then resigned from the position. In 2008, he remained as the CM from May 30th 2008 to 2011 for a period of 3 years and 62 days before stepping down from the post.
