The deceased are identified as Chittappa, Shashidhar, Bhagyamma and Shashidhar. Whereas Muthuraj, Sadananda and Ajay have been admitted to a private hospital in Davanagere and are undergoing treatment, informed sources.
It is gathered the seven-member who belonged to the same family fell sick after eating Ragi Mudde, though they were rushed to the hospital four died on the way and three others are critical.
A case has registered with the Aimagala Police.
