52nd coronation anniversary of Dr D Veerendra Heggade to be held on Oct 24

Belthangady: Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade’s 52^nd coronation anniversary will be held at the temple premises on Thursday Ocatober 24.

A press statement stated that the coronation anniversary programme will be presided over by the state home minister Basavaraj Bommaia and MLAs Harish Poonja, Harish Kumar have been invited as the guests.

A fancy dress competition will be conducted at Amruthavarshini Hall on Oct 24^th and the formal function will be held in the evening and will include Pratibha Puraskar, felicitation of senior staff of Sri Kshetra and the flagging off new programmes by Dr Heggade.

Dr Heggade was decorated the chair of the ‘Dharmadhikari’ at the age of 20 on Oct 24^th 1968 and in his five decades tenure, he has implemented several social welfare schemes and contributed to the development of the region.
