7 feared dead as helicopter carrying Kedarnath pilgrims crashes

Kedarnath: As many as seven pilgrims, including the pilot are feared to be killed in a helicopter crash near Jangalchatti on Tuesday.

The helicopter was carrying pilgrims from Guptkashi to Kedarnath. Fog and poor visibility are said to be the reason for the crash.

A team has been dispatched to the accident spot to carry out relief operations.
