Hearing a petition, challenging the May 13 notification of the government for conduct of the exams, the division bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka and Justice H P Sandesh asked the government to take into consideration the present dynamics of coronavirus condition in the state and to inform its decision by 2.30 pm on Wednesday.

Pointing out that there are over 5,000 Containment Zones (CZ) in Bengaluru itself, the bench sought to know if there is any provision in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) allowing students residing in Containment Zones to venture out.
