 Amit Shah to solve Karnataka BJP conflict

Bengaluru: BJP National President Amit Shah is expected to send a representative soon to Karnataka in an attempt to solve internal issues of state BJP unit. The National leadership of the party has reportedly taken steps after differences between senior BJP leader KS Eshwarappa and State Party President BS Yeddyurappa continue to create disturbances within the party circle of Karnataka, the sources said.

A convention of party dissents held in Bengaluru earlier this week sent a strong message to the national leadership urging it to resolve the issues of state party unit by May 10. Party high command decision to send a representative(s) is reportedly made in the wake of state assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018 and there are expectation moving high that BJP could return to power in Karnataka. Amit Shah is also reportedly dissatisfied over the way of functioning of BS Yeddyurappa as he is reportedly taking major decisions without consulting even the leaders of the state party unit.
