Anil Kumar appointed as administration officer of MCC

Mangaluru: Mysuru Regional Commissioner Anil Kumar TK has been appointed as the administration officer for Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC).  

On March 12^th, the term of the elected representatives to MCC had completed and as of March 13^th, the Government Deputy Secretary for the Urban Development Department was appointed in the vacant position.

Normally, once the corporation’s term is completed, the District Commissioner is appointed as the administrative officer of the corporation. But this time, due to the forth coming Lok Sabha elections, the Regional Commissioner has been appointed to the position. Anil Kumar TK will also handle the responsibility as the secretary of the Tourism Department.
