Addressing the gathered after inauguration, Mr Khader spoke and informed that plans have been made to set up various projects from Kundapur to Kasaragod with the aim to attract more tourists to the coastal region.
“A feasibility study will also be conducted soon, to take up developmental works in this connection. The state government has also earmarked funds in the next budget for such developmental works,” said Khader.
The chief attraction of the flower show is a boat made out of carnations, chrysanthemums and roses. Demonstration on drip irrigation, bee-keeping, growing mushrooms, arranging cut flowers, hydroponics and other activities is also being conducted during the show. Over 80 stalls are selling flower seeds, organic and horticulture products. Honey and other value-assed products are also on sale here.
