He also added that it is the BJP and RSS which consider Dalits as untouchables. It is because of caste indifferences and those who support it that Dalits still suffer, Kharge said.
About allegation made on Congress President Rahul Gandhi visiting temple after having non-vegetarian food, Kharge said, “BJP has run out of all issues and did not have anything concrete to take on Congress president and hence started spreading a bunch of lies” Terming BJP leaders as skilled liars, Kharge said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Shivaraj Thagadagi had already clarified on the issue.
