Authorities declare holiday for schools in Belthangady, Bantwal and Byndoor due to heavy rain

Belthangady/Bantwal/Byndoor: In light of the heavy rainfall experienced today (July 4) and the continuous rain from last night, authorities have announced a holiday for all government, aided, and unaided primary and high schools in the region on Thursday, July 4.

The decision comes as many students who cross streams, brooks, and small bridges to reach school are facing significant difficulties. The Tahsildar and Block Education Officer (B.E.O) of Belthangady have urged parents to ensure their children stay safe and avoid entering or playing in the water.

Parents are requested to take extra precautions and keep their children indoors to prevent any water-related accidents.

The safety measures and school closure aim to protect students and ensure their well-being during this period of heavy rainfall.
