“Citizen of this country voted Modi to power for a second term. The Modi-led government failed to fulfil its promise in the first term. It is continuing to speak lies even in the second term. Lying has been the biggest achievement of this government,” he said.
Speaking to reporters here Siddaramaiah said that Modi in his letter claimed abrogation of Article 370, Ayodhya Temple verdict and repealing of Triple Talaq as the government’s biggest achievements. He questioned how the court’s verdict, referring to the Ayodhya Temple case was an achievement of the NDA government.
The government has however remained silent on issues such as unemployment, recession, declining GDP. India’s GDP has fallen below the GDP of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Unemployment is at its peak. Youth do not have any job prospects. The government has amended the APMC Act despite the opposition. Now amendments are being proposed to Labour Law.
