Bannanje Raja in Udupi to visit ailing mother

Udupi: Underworld don, Bannanje Raja, who was granted a day’s release from the prison to visit his ailing mother on July 9^th, reached Bannanje on Sunday, July 8^th.

The judge had granted him a day’s release from the prison in order to visit his ailing mother. He was escorted by personnel from Hindalga jail in Belagavi and will be lodged at Udupi police station overnight.

As many as 16 criminal cases are booked against Bannanje Raja  on various charges including shootout, robbery and murder. He was arrested in Morocco in 2015.
