Barber shaves his head in support of a friend battling cancer

Joel Ortega, a barber in Spain shaved his head in support of his friend Neeftali Martin, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

Neftali who is also a barber working at a shop in Alicante asked his co-worker Joel to cut his hair.

Joel cut Neftali’s hair but while doing so he turned the clippers on his own head and shaved his hair as well. Neftali broke down after seeing what Joel did for him. Joel then comforted Neftali and used a hairdryer to blow off any excess hair from both of them.

The entire incident was recorded on camera and Neftali posted it on Instagram.

Neftali’s caption translated from Spanish to English, “You’re not alone-those were the words of my great friend and co-worker, immediately afterward, he shaved his head telling me that until it grew back, he would continue doing so.”

He further added, “For those who do not know him, @imhooel is not just a co-worker but a brother also. I love you, bro.”
