New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed all other national cricket boards that any of its players or personnel playing or associating with the cricket league created in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will be banned from playing and participating in cricket and activities related to the sport in India.

The BCCI added that they have no issues with players and officials participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) created the ‘Kashmir Premier League’ consisting of six teams named after cities in PoK and will be holding the tournament between August 6 and 16.

PCB reacted to the instruction from BCCI calling it ‘bringing disrepute to the game,’ unacceptable and against the ‘Spirit of Cricket preamble.’
