Belagavi: Madiwaleshwar seer found dead in his Mutt

Bailahongal: Pontiff of Madiwaleshwar Mutt Sri Basavasiddalinga Mahaswamiji was found dead in the Mutt on Monday, September 5.

His body was found in a hung position, reportedly.

Reports suggest that the seer might have committed suicide after his name too was heard in the audio tape of two women, who are victims in the Murugha seer’s alleged sexual abuse case.

Meanwhile, DSP Shivanand Katagi and CPI U H Satenahalli visited the Mutt and assessed the situation.
