City has been receiving heavy rains since a few days which led to the frothing of the lake. The froth flew up 10 ft into the roads.
“The BDA had made slopes, gates and installed more than 20 sprinklers to control the froth. But clearly, these could not contain the froth,” a resident reported.
“It has been three months since the promise and nothing has been done. The budget allotted 50 crore, but we don’t know where the money has gone,” resident complained.
