The incident came to light when the woman’s brother-in-law came to the house at around 5.30 pm and found her dead.
The woman’s throat was slit and the knife used to commit the crime was in her right hand. However, police said that the assailant had tried to make it look like a suicide, by placing the knife in her right hand.
Also, officials claim that woman was murdered for personal reasons as there were no valuables stolen.
