Bengaluru: Smal time television actress Chandana committed suicide by consuming poison on Monday, June 1 morning at her Krishnamurti layout, Tavarekere residence.
She was admitted to a private hospital but did not respond to treatment and died.
She had created a selfie video before consuming poison. In the video, she blamed her ex-boyfriend Dinesh breaking up with her as the cause for her to take the lethal step.
Dinesh is currently missing. It is alleged that he had admitted her to the private hospital and when he learnt she had died, ran away from the hospital.
Sudduguntepalya police station arrived at the spot and are on the lookout for Dinesh. They have also registered FIR against five people which includes Dinesh, Dinesh's father, Dinesh's mother and another family member.
