Bengaluru: Fake marks card racket busted; 2 arrested

Bengaluru: Police officials busted a fake marks card racket in Bengaluru and arrested two persons in connection to the matter.

The accused sold marks cards of the reputed universities in the country to candidates who had failed and to those who remained absent from the exams.

The fake marks cards were provided for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, M.Com and other courses within four months.

Bengaluru Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil said, “The accused hail from Punjab. They settled down in Bengaluru a long time ago.”

The CCB officials conducted a raid and seized fake marks cards, graduation certificates and property documents from the accused.
