The accused has been identified as Aryan Khan who is from Sakleshpur and lives in Kattigenahalli, near Yelahanka.
He was arrested by police officials when he was trying to sell antiques behind the BDA Complex at KG Halli.
Khan was working for an Anglo-Indian couple in Sakleshpur. When the owner of the house died, his wife moved to Bengaluru and settled there. Later on, the woman shifted to England to live with her daughter.

The elderly woman died during the Covid-19 second wave and Khan decided to sell the antiques to clear his debt.
Police have seized several items from the accused such as elephant paw, a book, milk jug, teapot, Bhutanese showpiece, Irish tea maker, sugar pot, small milk jug, German silver scoop, two German silver ashtrays, five mustard trays, two small machetes, two African wooden spoons, and spoons made of animal bone.
