Bengaluru Police commissioner directs action against begging at traffic signals

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police commissioner Kamal Pant has asked both law and order and traffic departments to take joint action against begging at traffic signals.

“It is noticed that at busy traffic junctions, beggars and others are collecting money from motorists which is not only obstructing the smooth flow of traffic but also causing nuisance to the commuters,” Commissioner Kamal Pant said

Pant said that law and order and traffic police must take action against such people immediately.
