Bengaluru: Police confiscate 130 kg ganja

Bengaluru: the police have nabbed three men who were selling Ganja next to a college on Bannerghatta road and seized 75kgs of ganja/Marijuana which they concealed in polystyrene boxes under heaps of dry fish.

The accused have been identified as Govindaraj (29) a native of Tamil Nadu, Basavaraj (28) a resident of Yelachanahalli and Magendra (22) a resident of JP Nagar. They are all wall painters by profession and got into drug peddling to earn more money.

They would wrap small quantities of marijuana in plastic bags or aluminium foil and sell it to customers. The accused would pass the foil packages as rotis.

In the second case, the Koramangala police arrest Naveen Kumar (29) and seized 40 kgs of Marijuana from him on Tuesday.

In another case, the Mico Layout police have nabbed Jagar Samal (30) and his associate Lokanath Sahini(32) and confiscated 15 kgs of marijuana.
