Bengaluru: Rs 1 crore hydro cannabis seized; 4 including 2 Iranians held

Bengaluru: Central Crime Branch (CCB) has seized hydro cannabis worth Rs 1 crore and arrested four people, including two Iranian nationals, for allegedly growing and selling it.

The accused confessed to the police that they had bought the hydro cannabis seeds from the darknet. They grew it at home using Ultraviolet lights. The two Iran nationals were staying illegally in an apartment near Bidadi.

The police also seized 130 hydro cannabis plants, LSD strips, a car and mobile phones, among others. Case booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) and Foreigners Act.
