Addressing presspersons here on Saturday Mithun said, “Soon after a live explosive was detected at MIA, few of the BJP leaders had blamed Muslim community for the act. However, after the accused surrendered before the police they changed their statements.”
“Hereafter if such incidents take place in Mangaluru and if BJP leaders blamed the minorities for it, we will launch protest against such leaders,” Rai said.
He further requested BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel to take strict action against those who had made baseless allegations against minorities.
