Nearly 250 RSS volunteers from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra are attending the ‘Pracharak Varg’ camp, being held at the Sangha Niketan from November 11 onwards under the supervision of RSS general secretary Suresh ‘Bhaiyajji’ Joshi.

Shah, who took time off from the political campaigning for the assembly elections to be held in five states arrived in the city on Wednesday late evening and was given a cordial welcome by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs CT Ravi, Vedavyas Kamath among others.

Though there was no official briefing on the days proceedings, it is gathered that issues such as Naxalism, strategies for next year’s Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka and neighbouring Kerala the row surrounding construction of Ram temple and entry of women at Sabarimala shrine figured in the talks held between Shah and BJP, RSS leaders and Shah behind closed doors.
