Mangaluru: BJP national president, Amit Shah will be arriving in the city to take part in the South India Baithak (session) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Wednesday November 14. He is scheduled to arrive at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) here from Bengaluru at about 5 pm today.
On his arrival at the party airport, Shah will be received by BJP MPs, MLAs and district level leaders of the party. He is likely to be accompanied by five senior leaders of the party including BJP national general secretary, B L Santhosh.
Shah will proceed to Sangh Niketan at Mannagudda here from MIA and take part in the RSS session. He will stay overnight in a private hotel here and go back to Bengaluru by air on Thursday morning.
RSS Session
RSS session is held to discuss about the future working plans of the organization and is an important event which is being held at two places in the country now. The northern India Baithak is being held at Varanasi and the southern one is being held in the city. The programme began here on November 10. It will continue till November 15. Important leaders of RSS including its Karyavaha (general secretary) Bhayyaji Joshi (Suresh Joshi) would be taking part in the programme.

It is being said that the RSS is likely to provide certain guidelines to BJP in drawing up it strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha election during this session.
