BJP partymen assault party leader in Moodbidri

Moodbidri: BJP leader  Abhinandan Ballal who is also a member of Padumarnadu gram panchayat has alleged that he has been assaulted by his own partymen at the polling booth at Padumarnadau near here.

Mr Ballal has alleged that former president of Padumarnadu gram panchayat Srinath Suvarna and his brother Sharath Suvarna abused and assaulted him.

The incident left Mr Ballal injured who later got admitted into the Wenlock hospital in Mangaluru.

Counter allegation

There is a counter allegation acusing Abhinandan Ballal and his gang of assaulting a Dalit youth who is also said to be a member of BJP. Meanwhile the youth is admitted into the hospital.

Complaint and counter complaint has been filed by both the parties in this connection.
