BJP's BY Raghavendra registers win over Madhu Bangarappa of JD(S)

Shivamogga: BJP candidate BY Raghavendra, son of BJP state President BS Yeddyurappa won the Shivamogga Lok Sabha seat by defeating Madhu Bangarappa of  JD(S) with a margin of 52,168 votes. 

Though it was a close competition between the two right from the beginning, Raghavendra registered his victory  in the last rounds of counting.
