Three women, identified as Priyanka Rajesh Mogre (29), Mahadevi (26), and Vanita Gaikwad (37), have been arrested for house thefts. About 250 grams of gold jewelry, 100 grams of silver items, and other valuables were confiscated from them, police said.

The arrests were made in the theft case at the home of Aravind in Hennur.

Aravind had hired Mahadevi, who put forth a pseudo name of ‘Subbalakshmi’, as a domestic help using a Facebook page called “Refer House Maids, Bangalore”. Three days after joining work, Mahadevi went missing along with valuables from the house on May 6. Later Aravaind raised a police complaint.

Hennur police said that the trio worked together to pull off the heist.
