Shivamogga: Rubbishing rumours that BS Yeddyurappa was on a visit to Idukki in Kerala to consult a sorcerer, his son and Shivamogga BJP MP, BY Raghavendra, on Friday said that Yeddyurappa was taking a much-needed break ahead of the assembly session in Belagavi on December 10.

Shortly after Yeddyurappa left for Idukki to undergo a four-day naturopathy treatment at Prakriti Chikitsa Kendra, it was alleged that the BJP state president was probably consulting a sorcerer in Kerala in order to dislodge the coalition government in the state.

Raghavendra, however, dismissed the allegation made by former MLA Belur Gopalkrishna and maintained that Yeddyurappa needed a break from his hectic schedule.

Gopalkrishna claimed that Yeddyurappa had gone to Kerala with his confidante and Udupi-Chikkamagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje to seek a sorcerer’s advice on dislodging the government.

Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa is scheduled to return to Bengaluru on December 4, as per a communique from his office.
