BSY hoists flag at Field Marshal Manik Shaw Parade Ground

Bengaluru: On the occasion of 73rd Independence Day of the country Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa hoisted the National flag at the Field Marshal Manik Shaw Parade Ground in the city here and took out a flag march.

Addressing the gathering after hoisting the flag he assured that the families of those who lost their family members in floods will be giving compensation and noted that about 65 people across the state have been killed due to floods.

“The Government is prepared to handle the flood situation in the state and that the relief and rehabilitation work was underway,” Yediuyurappa added.
