BSY, Siddu condole Nissan Ahmed's demise

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa condoling the death of noted poet Nissar Ahmed termed it as an “irreparable loss” to the state and Kannada language.

Taking to Twitter Yediyurappa wrote, “Saddened by the death of noted poet Nissar Ahmed. His contribution to the Kannada language is irreplaceable.”

“May his soul Rest In Peace, My prayers are with the family in this hour of grief,” he said in another post.

Meanwhile, Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, “Nissar Ahmed’s demise is an irreplaceable loss to our state and language. May his soul rest in peace.”
