Canine accompanies pilgrims on padh yatra to Manthralaya

Shirur: A group of foot pilgrims to Manthralaya from Halkarni village in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district have brought along with them their pet dog.

The young pilgrims Mallikarjuna Kalavike, Ramesh Kamble, Raju Burad, Khetesh Medhar, Seshank Hattaraki and Vinit Gurava have been travelling on foot from their village to receive the darshan of Raghavendra Swamiji.

During their journey, many devotees were surprised at them and offered them and their dog food.
