We should not be slaves to foreign goods while celebrating 75 years of Independence, PM Narendra Modi said about ‘vocal for local’ mantra on his arrival from a three-nation visit on Friday.

“Every Indian should be proud of the world’s optimism and trust for our country; I felt this during my recent foreign visit,” he said.

“Be it solutions for global peace and prosperity or strengthening global supply chain, the world looks to India with great trust,” he added.
