Can't continue in the party with this kind of humiliation: Amarinder Singh to Sonia

New Delhi: Amid fresh rumblings in the Punjab unit of Congress, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has reportedly told Sonia Gandhi that he “can’t continue in the party with this kind of humiliation.”

The party has called a meeting of the state’s Congress Legislative Party on Saturday.

In a late-night tweet on Friday, state Congress in-charge Harish Rawat said: “The AICC has received a representation from a large number of MLAs from the Congress party, requesting to immediately convene a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) of Punjab.
