Chikkamagaluru: Lokayukta nabs bill collector while taking bribe

A municipal bill collector was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe by Lokayukta sleuths.

The arrested is identified as Pradeep, a bill collector of Chikkamagaluru Municipality.

Reportedly Pradeep had demanded a bribe of seven thousand rupees from a person named Rakesh for facilitating e-property services. Pradeep had already received an advance of 3000 rupees through PhonePe.

Today, while accepting the remaining 2000 rupees, he was caught in a raid led by Lokayukta officer Anil Nayak.
