Chikkamagaluru: Man attempts suicide after lover’s parents fix her marriage

Chikkamagaluru: A man attempted suicide after the parents of the girl he was in love with arranged her marriage with another man.

The incident occurred at Banakkal in Moodigere taluk in the district here.

The man has been identified as Raghavendra.

Raghavendra and the girl were in love with each other for the past six years.

After learning of her marriage arrangement with another man, Raghavendra wrote a death note and consumed pills.

He is currently being treated at a hospital in Hassan.
