Chikmagalur: Massive fire erupts in tyre shop

Chikmagalur: A massive fire broke out in a tyre shop near NMC circle on Monday, June 1 morning.

As per sources, initial inquiries revealed that short circuit may be the reason behind the fire. Tyres worth several lakh rupees were destroyed in the fire.

Firefighters of a local fire station struggled for more than two hours to douse the flames that engulfed the tyre shop.
