Citing ill-health, DKShi's mother urges ED to question her in B'luru

Bengaluru: Former Minister DK Shivakumar mother Gowramma unlikely to appear before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning on Tuesday.

A day after Enforcement Directorate summoned DK Shivakumar mother for questioning in connection with a money laundering case against the Congress leader, she requested the officials to question her in Bengaluru owing to her age and health.

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday summoned former Karnataka Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s wife and mother for questioning in connection with a money laundering case against the Congress leader.

“We have summoned over 50 people in connection with the case for questioning. We have called Shivakumar’s wife and mother on October 17 in New Delhi,” a senior ED official was quoted speaking to IANS.

Earlier, the ED has questioned Shivakumar’s daughter Aishwarya, his brother and MP D.K. Suresh and Belagavi Rural MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar.
