Class 5 student from Shirva receives honour in Delhi

Shirva: Aidan Chris Danthy, a class 5 student of Don Bosco English Medium School here, participated in the Republic Day Parade as a special guest of the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

He also received the prize of Veergatha 2.0 at an event held at Raksha Sampada Bhavan in New Delhi.

Aidan was one of the 25 winners of the Veergatha 2.0 organized by the Ministry of Defense in coordination with the Ministry of Education. The students had to pen a poem/essay/painting portraying the story of gallantry award winners.

Aidan, who participated in class 3-5 category, had written a poem on Param Veera Chakra awardee Capt. Vikram Batra. The results of the competition were announced on January 3.
