CM Yediyurappa visits native village

Mandya: A day after taking oath for his fourth term as Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa visited his native village Bookanakere and offered prayers at Sidhalingehwara Temple.

On Saturday Yeddiyurappa offered prayers at Sidhalingehwara Temple in Bookanakere and also visit his home.

Addressing pressspersons during his visit he said, “It is my duty to visit my birthplace. This is the place where I was born and brought up. I will visit my home.”

BS Yediyurappa was sworn in as Chief Minister of the state for the fourth time on Friday.

Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath of office and secrecy to the 76-year old Yediyurappa at a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan.
