Cong workers plan to gherao CT Ravi's house; detained by cops en route

Protesting the “Nehru Hookah bar” remarks made by BJP national general secretary CT Ravi, Congress workers attempted to gherao the BJP leaders residence here today.

The Congress party workers, led by state youth Congress chief Raksha Ramaiah were detained by the police as they were headed towards CT Ravi’s home on Saturday afternoon.

In view of this development, police have deployed security in front of CT Ravi’s home.
