Congress-JD(S) portfolio division announced

Bengaluru: After delayed conferences, the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government in the state reported the points of interest of the portfolio sharing on Friday, June 1. At a joint gathering press meet called by Chief Minister Kumaraswamy here, K C Venugopal uncovered the much anticipated details of the cabinet power sharing and said that the Congress would head 22 portfolios though JD(S) will have 12 portfolios in the new cabinet. 

It appears that JD(S) has built its way into the coalition government by picking up the finance portfolio. The party has effectively consulted to retain the plum places of excise and PWD. It will likewise head the portfolios of education, animal husbandry, fisheries, horticulture, sericulture, power, cooperatives, tourism among others, Venugopal informed.

The Congress then again, has gotten other essential portfolios of home ministry, health, forest, agriculture, irrigation and water resources, and revenue. Congress will have its ministers heading the Bengaluru city development, muzrai, food and civil supplies, Science and technology IT/BT, law and parliamentary undertakings, housing, youth and sports, ports and shipping, mines and geology, and rural development portfolios.

Addressing journalists after the press meet, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that there were no distinctions of feeling in the portfolio sharing procedure. “We have settled on these choices after careful talk with Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other senior pioneers”, he said.

Kumaraswamy additionally educated that he was prepared to expand the government on Sunday, June 3 however the senator had requested that he put off the day to June 6 as the latter would be away in Delhi. “The Governor (Vajubhia Vala) has settled 2 p.m. on June 6 for the swearing-in of all the 32 Cabinet Ministers. The venue for the ceremony will be chosen soon,” Kumaraswamy told the media.
