Cops confiscate goods tempo used by rioteers for transporting stones

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of high-quality images, shared by the public, of the riots that took place on December 19, the city police have managed to identify and trace a goods tempo used by the rioteers for transporting stones.

The police on Tuesday, December 24 confiscated the goods tempo after video clippings purportedly revealed protesters bringing stones in that vehicle and hurling it at the police personnel and damaging public property, CCTV cameras.

Earlier the police appealed to the public to share any videos of the rioting incidents to help them in the investigations.
