'Corona jihadis' remark: MP Shobha Karnadlaje dares PFI to sue her

Bengaluru: Member of Parliament from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, Shobha Karandlaje, has angrily reacted to the threat of a criminal lawsuit against her given by the Islamist organisation Popular Front of India (PFI).

Days earlier, Karandlaje had referred to the Tablighi Jamaat attendees at the congregation at Nizamuddin, Delhi as ‘corona jihadis’ for not submitting to health officials for COVID-19 testing and brashly behaving with health workers at quarantine centres.

She alleged that PFI has an association with the Jamaat and also dared them to sue her as she has faced many such court cases by them earlier.
