Covid-19: Cabbie flees B'luru after his passenger tests positive

Bengaluru: A cab driver fled to his home town in Tamil Nadu after he learned that his passenger he ferried from the Kempegowda International Airport to Majestic on March 13 tests positive for Covid-19.

Reportedly, five days after the cab drive ferried a man from the Kempegowda International Airport to Majestic, he got a call from the health & family welfare department authorities saying that his passenger had tested positive.

Shocked after hearing the news the cab driver left for his home town in Tamil Nadu with two relatives who are also cab drivers informed sources.

Meanwhile, the health department, who collected information about him leaving the city when he should have been under strict home isolation said that he must follow strict home isolation for 14 days and if there are any symptoms, he should call a helpline in Tamil Nadu and rush to the nearest hospital.
