Covid 19: Family of deceased Bantwal woman quarantined; seal-down announced in area

Bantwal: Following the death of a 50-year-old woman who tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, April 19 the district administration has announced for seal down of the area.

The deceased woman’s husband and son have been placed in quarantine while her mother-in-law’s condition is said to be serious and has been admitted to the ICU.

The throat swab samples of the trio have been sent for examination and the report is awaited.

The deceased woman’s son had arrived from Dubai on March 16.

Bantwal city police made announcement of the seal-down of the area through loudspeakers and directed people to stay indoors.
