- Never use rubbing alcohol to clean your phone as it can strip the oleophobic and hydrophobic coatings that keep oil and water from damaging your display and other ports.
- It is always better to use disinfectant wipes that contain 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean your phone screen.
- For disinfecting your phone, dampen the corner with a small amount of distilled water/disinfectant and wipe the front and back of your phone gently without too much pressure. Also avoid excessive wiping.
- If you use cases or cover on your phone, then disinfect them as well as they tend to capture a lot of dirt and germs. Wipe it clean and if it's made of safe-to-wash materials like TPU/silicone and hard plastic, give the case a good rinse in warm water and let it air dry.
- Since the devices can collect germs, avoid putting your phone on public surfaces. Also try to use a hands-free headset to minimise the device’s exposure to your face.
