Covid-19 lockdown: Violation of Sec 144, seven arrested in DK

Mangaluru: Seven people were arrested in the district on Tuesday, March 24 arrested for violating section 144. The arrested are James (45), Vimesh (30), Ameer Haju Ansari, Balaram Chowdri (32), Rahul Panday (18) were arrested by the Central subdivision, while Sidiq and Vinay were arrested by the south subdivision. So for no arrests were made by the north subdivision police. The police arrests were made for violating section 144, which in force in the district from Sunday, March 22, informed sources. On Monday, March 23 Commissioner of Police Harsha had made it clear that those who will be violating the section will be punished mercilessly.
