COVID-19: SCDCC Bank donates Rs 1 crore

Mangaluru: The South Canara District Central Cooperative Bank Limited (SCDCC) will be donating Rs 1 crore to the State government in the fight against COVID-19 stated bank’s president M N Rajendra Kumar.

The employees of SCDCC Bank will donate a day’s salary and the Navodaya grama vikas charitable trust will donate masks worth Rs 50,000, said Kumar.

He also requested all cooperative societies in the district and their members to donate to the cause.

All those interested can donate to ‘SCDCC Bank, Kodialbail Branch A/C No. 505/757 Covid-19 Relief Fund’ through cash, cheque or RTGS, he further added.

Kumar also announced new timings of all SCDCC banks due to the lockdown. Banks will be open from 10 am to 2 pm.
